Accountability
Corrections Policy & Log
How we handle errors, clarifications, and post-publication updates.
Correction Policy
Accuracy is the foundational asset of ARC & EPOCH. When we make a factual error, we correct it promptly, transparently, and completely. We do not quietly rewrite history or edit claims without notation.
Material Corrections vs. Minor Typos
- Factual / Material Corrections: Any error involving a technical specification, benchmark number, attribution, security severity rating, or factual statement is appended with a prominent correction note at the bottom of the article and logged on this public page.
- Minor Typographical Edits: Routine spelling, grammatical, or typographical fixes that do not alter technical meaning are corrected directly without a formal notice.
Public Corrections Log
| Date (UTC) | Article | Correction Summary |
|---|---|---|
| 2026-11-03 | CVE-2026-98432 Advisory | Clarified that mainline upstream Linux integrated the patch while distribution backports remain in testing. |
