Our Privacy Commitment

ARC & EPOCH is built for engineers and technologists. We respect your autonomy and privacy. Our publication is engineered to operate without invasive tracking cookies, surveillance marketing pixels, or session replay scripts.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not deploy marketing tracking cookies.
  • We do not utilize session replay or keystroke logging software (e.g., FullStory, Hotjar).
  • We do not fingerprint your browser or hardware across external websites.
  • We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data.

2. Anonymous Infrastructure Analytics

To monitor publication stability and bandwidth utilization, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page load metrics, country-level geography, and referrers without using cookies, local storage, or IP address logging. It does not track users across sites or create behavioral profiles.

3. Newsletter Subscription Data

If you voluntarily subscribe to The Briefing newsletter:

  • We collect only your submitted email address.
  • Newsletter delivery is managed via beehiiv, an enterprise newsletter provider complying with global data security frameworks.
  • Your email address is used solely to deliver the editorial memo and essential publication updates.
  • You can permanently unsubscribe at any time using the one-click unsubscribe link in every email footer.

4. Local Theme Storage

When you toggle between light and dark modes, your preference is saved locally on your device in localStorage under the key arc_epoch_theme. This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.

5. Your Rights & Inquiries

Regardless of your geographic location, you have the right to request deletion or inspection of any email address associated with our newsletter distribution list.

To exercise your data privacy rights, reach out via our official X account (@ArcAndEpoch).
